Outside ze Pompidou

Inside ze Pompidou

The rich pastime of window-gazing

Today marks the end of my first week in Paris. So far I have explored by foot, about five of the twenty arrondissements in the city. Paris is big and my feet are le tired. Cameron has been taking me around almost nonstop. Yesterday we visited the Pompidou museum, which is a famous modern art museum in Paris. The building is big and really ugly. Its a good thing i have a thing for art, because it took us the better part of four hours to walk through.
Today is yet another holiday in France (not sure which one) and that means that everything is closed. I spent a few hours in a very nice park reading, writing and watching people make-out. Yes indeed it is spring time in Paris, the city of light and from what i can see, the city of people making out in public.

i just thought that you might like to know this. it doesn't have anything significant to do with how the photo made me feel, but while i was looking at the photo of the man with his hand on his face, this all of a sudden came out:

some people are just inherently selfish.

don't you wish i would say that? you could have an excuse for being you. it's genetic. ask yourself, do you really believe that?
