i've been warned about spanish women...and erasmus in general. i will proceed with caution...:) so no worries there.
i also like barcelona very much. it was my second favorite on my last europe trip--2nd to amsterdam. i am scheduled to fly through amsterdam on the way to barcelona so i hope to get out of the airport even for an hour or a half hour to jump around in the dutch air!
reasons why i chose barce: lots of family history in the city, its beauty, beaches, two languages (both that i hope to speak well by the time i come back), lots of students!, lots of europeans women and internationals, never lived in a big city before, its a prospect for my future home, and a really fun night life. hopefully i'll be able to audit a philosophy class at UofB while i'm there as well.
